Summary

Is it possible for a guy to turn on a switch and realize he’s been in love with a girl that’s been under his nose for over a decade?

Ashleigh Franklin can’t decide。

Ashleigh wants the fairy tale。 Ever since she was a kid, her best friend’s brother, Luke, has been her fantasy Prince Charming。 Now he’s trying to convince her that she’s the one he’s wanted all these years。 There’s no way it’s that easy to escape the friend zone。

Single after years living with a girlfriend, Luke has finally woken up。 What he’s been waiting for has been right under his nose for almost his entire life。 Can he persuade her that he’s serious and won’t break her heart?

Richard is a doctor that, in the beginning sounds a little misogynistic, but later on changes and became wonderful, and Fiona is a lawyer that does triathlon and is a super nice women。 So Ash and Luke string them along because they are on a break and trying to figure it out if they should be together。 I almost gave up reading until the end, but I just had to finish to see if the plot would improve: 。。。more

You date a girl for 3 years and you are surprised she wants to get married, really? Didn't like Luke because the way he broke things off with ex-girlfriend, didn't like Ash because of literaly anything and everything she did。 That bitch killed her own happines at every turn。 Right now I am reading last chapter and that internal monolog (view spoiler)[when finding out she's pregnent (hide spoiler)] just made me lose what little respect I had for her as a character。 You date a girl for 3 years and you are surprised she wants to get married, really? it took me months to finish and i finally realized i didn't want to read it anymore。 at first i kept skipping chapters hoping luke and ashleigh would finally warm my heart, but they didn't so i dnf。 actually luke was ok, but ashleigh 。。。 hated her from start to finish。 i don't know why she kept pushing luke away when he was her childhood crush and he realized he loved her 。。。 that she was the only woman for him。 because of her insecurities (plus she's a masochist) she forced luke to find love so it took me months to finish and i finally realized i didn't want to read it anymore。 at first i kept skipping chapters hoping luke and ashleigh would finally warm my heart, but they didn't so i dnf。 actually luke was ok, but ashleigh 。。。 hated her from start to finish。 i don't know why she kept pushing luke away when he was her childhood crush and he realized he loved her 。。。 that she was the only woman for him。 because of her insecurities (plus she's a masochist) she forced luke to find love somewhere else。 wth? just love the guy! he's your childhood crush, why delay? you're an adult w/past relationships, not some innocent non-worldy woman。 smh!!! 。。。more

Well I thought I might like the premise of this book than Parisian Nights。 But now I'm not sure coz I was flipping over pages which bored the hell out of me。 Although I liked the various steamy scenes of this Night Series, some conflict scenes seemed stretched out to make pages。 Perhaps if I read the first two books at same period with Indigo Nights before I may have a different assessment or maybe not who knows? I had this book on my reader for a long time but it never was the right moment to get to it, in the meantime I’ve read and appreciated all Louise Bay’s works, but yesterday it seemed it called me so I turned the first page and finished it in a few hours。 Louise Bay words gave me all the comfort and the joy I did need and while I was reading I felt like I was reunites with some old lost friends。I've really enjoyed to follow Ashleigh and Luke’s journey from friends to lovers, it was’t easy for the I had this book on my reader for a long time but it never was the right moment to get to it, in the meantime I’ve read and appreciated all Louise Bay’s works, but yesterday it seemed it called me so I turned the first page and finished it in a few hours。 Louise Bay words gave me all the comfort and the joy I did need and while I was reading I felt like I was reunites with some old lost friends。I've really enjoyed to follow Ashleigh and Luke’s journey from friends to lovers, it was’t easy for them to risk their friendship for something so unpredictable like love but their trust in each other helped them to take that jump。 I thoroughly recommend it if you want a nice spicy read。 。。。more

You Can never go wrong with a Louise Bay novel and Promised Nights was all that plus Shane East。 Yum。 I love Louise Bay stories because they always center around a fab female lead and a swoony af hero。 This time the heroine wasn’t my favorite, but by god our hero, Luke, is all the things! The romance and amazing writing was still there so I enjoyed it。 Shane East and Clare Corbett narrate and do a wonderful job。 I mean, you cannot go wrong with Shane East and Clare was a great as well。 My first You Can never go wrong with a Louise Bay novel and Promised Nights was all that plus Shane East。 Yum。 I love Louise Bay stories because they always center around a fab female lead and a swoony af hero。 This time the heroine wasn’t my favorite, but by god our hero, Luke, is all the things! Best Friend's Brother。Sister's Best Friend。However you look at it, Ashley and Luke are absolutely perfect for each other。 And as soon as they both realize it, the real fun begins。I don't know how familiar you are with Shane East, but holy moly this book is dirty and hearing his amazing voice whispering such naughty words in my ear。。。well, this book is a #onehandedread (if I were holding a physical book) if I've ever read/heard one。Super hot, fun, flirty, and one of those reads you just can't put Best Friend's Brother。Sister's Best Friend。However you look at it, Ashley and Luke are absolutely perfect for each other。 And as soon as they both realize it, the real fun begins。I don't know how familiar you are with Shane East, but holy moly this book is dirty and hearing his amazing voice whispering such naughty words in my ear。。。well, this book is a #onehandedread (if I were holding a physical book) if I've ever read/heard one。Super hot, fun, flirty, and one of those reads you just can't put down。 Promised Nights is exactly what you need。 。。。more

*AUDIOBOOK REVIEW*Narration: 5/5Characters: 3。5/5Story: 4。5/5Although I struggled with the heroine & found her annoying at times, overall I really enjoyed their love story! Luke was SO swoony。 And the obstacles they ended up getting over made this story great! The narration was excellent & I throughly enjoyed this listen。 Also。 LONDON!

2。5 stars I have never been so disappointed in finishing a book than I have for this one。 It was alright, even meh status to me。 It was honestly a struggle to get through the rest of this book。 Her insecurity was understandable at first, but by the end it got tiring。 Like we get it, but how much more does he have to prove that he wants to be with you? Not to mention (view spoiler)[ she was going to walk out without telling him she was pregnant with his kid。。。 like wtf? WowWow what a book。 Finding yourself in love with the girl he had known his whole life。 They were perfect together。 Needed time to process but it worked out for them。 Great book

Lisa :)

I really liked the first half until the heroine turned into whiny little thing who couldn‘t make up her mind。 Kinda ruined my enjoyment of the whole thing。Promised nights is well written story telling wise but I almost DNF‘ed because Ashleigh aggravated me so much。3 stars because I really liked the book until Ashleigh had the most stupid idea for them to break up and was really hard headed about getting back together。

*ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*A friend to lovers story with a slightly different twist。 The 3-parter showcased the evolving relationship between Ashleigh and Jake with friends and family as a backdrop。 I like the complicated route that they took but it did get a little bit exasperating and annoying at junctions when Ashleigh's doubts became a little too front and center。。。and when Jake became too "Mr。 Relationship" after being the total opposite in his previous relation *ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*A friend to lovers story with a slightly different twist。 The 3-parter showcased the evolving relationship between Ashleigh and Jake with friends and family as a backdrop。 I like the complicated route that they took but it did get a little bit exasperating and annoying at junctions when Ashleigh's doubts became a little too front and center。。。and when Jake became too "Mr。 Relationship" after being the total opposite in his previous relationships。 Otherwise, a good read。 。。。more

Author is hit or missSome of Louise Bay's books are fun reads, and other's are obnoxious。 This one happened to be the latter。 Ashleigh was so obnoxious。 She has zero self esteem and refuses to talk about her feelings in favor of acting rashly。 I guess there wouldn't have been a book without her drama, but it was so contrived and she really just came off as whiny。 Author is hit or missSome of Louise Bay's books are fun reads, and other's are obnoxious。 This one happened to be the latter。 Ashleigh was so obnoxious。 She has zero self esteem and refuses to talk about her feelings in favor of acting rashly。 I guess there wouldn't have been a book without her drama, but it was so contrived and she really just came off as whiny。 。。。more

Pretty good It took me a little longer to get through this one。 The heroines inability to believe the hero loved her just as much as she loved him was a bit tedious but overall a good story。 The other two books in this series were better。

After hearing their banter in Parisian Nights I was really looking forward to reading about Ashleigh and Luke's story but I was kind of disappointed。 It was a nice story overall but Ashleigh constantly doubting Luke's feelings and actions became very annoying quickly。 It was what Ashleigh wanted all along and when she finally got her HEA with Luke all she did was doubt everything。 A bit of a let down but hopefully the next book in the series won't be like that。 After hearing their banter in Parisian Nights I was really looking forward to reading about Ashleigh and Luke's story but I was kind of disappointed。 It was a nice story overall but Ashleigh constantly doubting Luke's feelings and actions became very annoying quickly。 It was what Ashleigh wanted all along and when she finally got her HEA with Luke all she did was doubt everything。 A bit of a let down but hopefully the next book in the series won't be like that。 。。。more
